Do you remember this strange hobby that I confessed a few months ago? Yes, I did use my free time for courses, training find interesting visit other cities ... as usual I've done it again.
November was free and took my moleskine, my sleeping bag and my eternal desire to learn. One of the destinations chosen were Dúrcal, a village in Granada at the foot of the Alpujarras and unrepeatable views. There I enjoy 4 days of very intense training in the Andalusian Environmental Education Plan of the Ministry of Environment, the course was called: "The city consumes us. Urban Environment and Environmental Education "
What do you suggest the title? Me first of all I thought it was funny and you know I'm that kind of people who need to have fun while learning, well I was right and it's very constructive, participatory and intimate was "desconojante", just say that there are some photos (which I hope not go in life) of us dressed up, celebrating a wedding between monitor (girlfriend) and alumna (boyfriend), I teaching in plaid pajamas and slippers, people singing carnival to light the fire of biomass, we ... a course was not sad!
But besides all was most rewarding, you know my regular readers @ s / as I've been involved a great time with our cities and find ways from environmental psychology to transform, because in the course left cargadito of ideas and tools. Our urban environment is analyzed from 4 different perspectives:
Historical Ecological Ethics Psychological
They all brought me something, although you can suspect that was my favorite and where else was there, but I left with several key ideas to keep locked in my particular ideology:
- all want to live like kings ... even at the expense of the majority.
- is needed systemic approach to solving environmental problems, all in the parts and the parts in the whole, also in continuous interaction .
- must be "visible processes" that are normally hidden and go unnoticed, you have to know other realities.
- Our cities are built by people but in turn these cities built by people.
In short, it was worth the outside world off those 4 days to analyze the environment we live in from the outside. I also like to thank Serena and Rosendo (my workgroup), to ecotone, for putting so much hope when transferring knowledge to other colleagues and for convincing me that the project may have a future PSICOAMBIENTALIA and act as consulting in transforming our cities and make them a better place.
