Tanning And Getting Your Eyebrows Waxed

After having said "I love you"

The words are wonderful, but things are not .
The words represent things, but not the things they represent.
Words are only phonetic symbols (sounds) placed next to each other in a conventional order and given a meaning.
The words we use determine in a strict sense, our system of beliefs and actions. Use them instead of being used and limited for them!
St.-Exupéry said: "Words can be the source of much disagreement"

'Say' is wonderful, but 'make' can have even greater power. Several years ago, I had a Buddhist teacher who taught me to "know, and do , is not know yet!"
If we listen, which in itself is rare, the static of our own preconceived ideas interact not stop until, once all is said and done, we do not hear what the person is saying but what we prepared to hear.

When I ask you to listen to me and you start giving me advice
not do what I asked.
When I ask you to listen to me and you begin to say
why I should not feel that way, you are trampling on my feelings.
When I ask you to listen and you feel you must
do something to solve my problems, I've failed,
strange as it seems.
Maybe that's why some people seek prayer
Because God is mute and does not give advice or try to fix things
Just listen and trust you fend for yourself.
So please, just listen and hear me. And if you
want to talk
wait a few minutes your turn and I promise you I will listen.

You will recall that the message of love of Eliza Doolittle in the great comedy Lerner and Lowe musical My Fair Lady was "Prove!" She says crying if you love me, stop talking and prove it with actions!
